Christine Gillis professional headshot

I'm Christine Gillis. I have experience in the federal government and industry, with a focus on policy, regulation, and stakeholder relations. I believe advocacy and government engagement efforts work best when they're honest, respectful, and focused on finding common ground.I’ve held leadership roles in both government and industry, shaping policy and regulatory frameworks that impact the lives of Canadians. I served as Vice-President of Health Product Policy & Regulation at Food, Health and Consumer Products of Canada, where I advocated on behalf of the industry. In government, I was a Senior Advisor to Health Canada's Deputy Minister, and held leadership positions overseeing policy and stakeholder relations for consumer health product regulation, as well as managing Canada’s national home energy efficiency program at Natural Resources Canada. These roles have deepened my understanding of how policy is made, how change happens, and how constructive engagement with government can lead to meaningful outcomes.
